We are interested in nurses completing a survey about their current practices and opinions about nurses' uniforms. This survey is intended as a useful tool to Mark Dion and J. Morgan Puett, artists and fashion designers who are organizing an exhibition entitled "Life Styles: The Past, Present and Future of the Nurse Uniform." A critical aspect of the exhibition is an attempt to design a practical and flattering uniform which could live up to the demands and issues of the profession today.

The exhibition will open at the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia in October 2003, and the proposed uniform will be on display. This survey is cosponsored by the Center for the Study of the History of Nursing, School of Nursing, University of Pennsylvania.

The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete. The Fabric Workshop and Museum thanks you for your support.
